The American Fiqh Academy (AFA) operates entirely on your contributions. Be a part of this national Muslim academic movement and merit perpetual reward (sadaqah jariyah) for yourself and your family in this life and the hereafter. Every contribution, no matter what amount, makes a difference and earns the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala. We encourage recurring donations, which is inline with the Prophetic teaching of the best actions being those that are consistent, even if small in quantity (Bukhari).
AFA is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization.
There are three primary ways of donating:
1. Credit Card / PayPal
As a registered PayPal charity, 100% of your donation will go to the American Fiqh Academy (no credit card fees).
Please click here to donate on our PayPal charity fund page.
Recurring Donation (Highly Recommended):
Ponder over the amount of money spent on oneself daily, such as $5 for a coffee, and then consider donating between $1 – $10 a day for the benefit of the broader American (and global) Muslim community.
People often make such donations on behalf of their loved ones, especially the deceased. You may enter their name(s) in the box below.
2. Amazon Smile
American Fiqh Academy is a registered charity on Amazon Smile. Visit this link to start shopping on Amazon, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of your purchase price. There is no additional cost to you.
3. Benevity / Company Matching Programs
Many companies offer a matching program where the company will match the donation of its employees (matching ratios and limits vary). American Fiqh Academy is available on and verified by Benevity Inc., one of the largest platforms for such corporate giving programs. Check with your employer to see if they participate in corporate matching.
4. Bequests (Wasiyyah) in One’s Will
The Sharia allows for a person to appropriate one-third of one’s net assets to a cause of his/her wish after his/her demise. Such bequests to the American Fiqh Academy will continue to be a source of perpetual reward for the deceased in the grave. Please contact us at email@example.com for further details on making bequests in one’s will.
